Samoa Joe Talks Wanting To Wrestle Lesnar, Whether He's Met With Vince McMahon

The aggressive signing of talent in the past two years by WWE has created a plethora of potential first-time and "dream" matchups. One of those possible dream matches pits Samoa Joe against Brock Lesnar, and the Samoan Submission Machine recently said he would relish the chance to face the current WWE Universal Champion.

Joe discussed the prospect of a match against Lesnar, and more, during a recent appearance on Chris Jericho's podcast, Talk Is Jericho.

"I think, and I've stated it a lot, I think it's something the fans want to see and I'd definitely like to get into it with Brock," Joe said. "He's very intense. It has got to be believable. I think that's part of it, too."

With both Lesnar and Joe currently part of the Raw roster in WWE, that match certainly could come to fruition if the creative team chooses.

Joe also talked about whether or not he has had a formal, "sit-down" meeting with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon since he was called up to the main roster earlier this year.

"We haven't really had a sit-down meeting," Joe said. "We talk in passing and, like, I'm not big on, like, having real long, drawn-out conversations and I guess that's to my detriment. I'll show up and be, like, 'Hey, what do we need? Alright, cool.' I'm out the door. Let's go get it done."

Joe noted that from what he had heard, sit-down meetings with the boss tended to be a negative experience.

"I heard, if you do have a meeting, nine times out of 10, it's not a good thing!" Joe said.

Joe recently suffered his first televised loss by pinfall since joining the main roster, losing to Seth Rollins at Payback.
