Santiago Ponzinibbio picked up his sixth win under the UFC banner at UFC Fight Night 105, as he earned a decision over Nordine Taleb.

The Brazilian fighter is now tied for the second longest active winning streak in the welterweight division and he feels ready for anything the UFC can throw at him.

“I am ready for everything and everyone at 170 pounds in the world,” Ponzinibbio told MMA Junkie. “My striking is very good. I have a good technique, good conditioning. My grappling and my wrestling is every day better. … Really, I feel like I am ready for the top 10 in this division. I want to keep going up, up in this division.”

The six wins Ponzinibbio earned in the UFC have come over Nordine Taleb, Sean Strickland, Wendell De Oliveira Marques, Andreas Stahl, Court McGee and Zak Cummings. Winning streak aside, Ponzinibbio feels that he is ready for some ranked opposition in the UFC.

“Put me in the top 10,” Ponzinibbio said. “Every one of the guys in the top 10. I need work. I am ready for the world. I am healthy. The next two, three months put me in there with a top-10 guy. … Neil Magny is a good guy. He’s a good name. Donald Cerrone, Matt Brown. Everyone in the top 10. Give it to me. I am ready.”

It has been nearly two years since Ponzinibbio suffered his lone UFC defeat, which came to Lorenz Larkin at UFC Fight Night 70.
