Former Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion and four fight UFC veteran Sarah Kaufman will be facing Jessica-Rose Clark at Battlefield Fighting Championships this March. It will be her first fight since the UFC opted to not resign her after Kaufman’s contract expired.

Kaufman (17-4-0-1NC) won just one of four fights during her time in the UFC, defeating Leslie Smith, with the losses coming to Alexis Davis and Valentina Shevchenko, plus she fought Jessica Eye to a no contest. Kaufman won the Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Title at Strikeforce Challenger 6 in 2010, she would defend it once before losing it to Marloes Coenen at Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Noons II in October 2010. She would also challenge for the title two years later, losing to then champion Ronda Rousey by first round arm bar at Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman in 2012.
