Sasha Banks Knows More Criticism Is Coming

The familiar saying "with great power, comes great responsibility" is starting to make more sense to Sasha Banks, or so it seems.

As women's wrestling gains a brighter spotlight, Banks told former WCW announcer Mark Madden on his podcast that she fully expects more criticism to come their way.

"I feel that we're equal, soon, we're not going to be like, 'Hey, that was a great women's match' it's gonna be, 'That's a great match,' period. We are just as equal as the men, as you can see, every single week, we're main eventing, just like the guys." said Banks.

Sasha Banks later got emotional when Madden gave Banks a shirt that belonged to Art Barr. Barr was the tag team partner of Eddie Guerrero, who Banks has cited repeatedly as her inspiration to become a wrestler.

Banks also spoke about the feud between herself and Charlotte, as well as Sunday's Roadblock.

"This whole women's evolution has just taken over, Charlotte and I have made history, from Hell in a Cell to main eventing a Raw PPV to main eventing Raw three times in a row. It's absolutely insane...This is it, the end of the line for Charlotte and I, there's no rematch clause, whoever wins is going to go down as the great women's wrestler, I think, of all-time," Banks said.
