Second Title Fight Added To Victory FC 57

Another title fight has been added to the upcoming Victory Fighting Championships 57 card as Kevin Gray faces Nick Mamalis for the vacant flyweight title.

Gray (8-3-0) is currently undefeated in Victory FC competition, having defeated Joey Diehl by unanimous decision at Victory FC 55. Gray is the former Caged Aggression Flyweight Champion, defeating Eric Shelton to win the belt by split decision in March 2015. Gray also fought three times in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, earning victories over Joey Eisenbraum and Josh Smith.

Mamalis (28-11-0-1NC) is returning to Victory FC for the first time in almost seven years, as his last fight in the promotion was a submission victory over Josh Rave at Victory FC 33. Mamalis also competed four times under the Bellator MMA banner, earning victories over Mark Oshiro and Albert Rios. Mamalis made his professional MMA debut over a decade ago at a Ring Of Fire event, suffering a defeat to UFC veteran Raphael Assuncao.

Victory Fighting Championships 57 takes place on Friday, May 5 from the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka, Kansas with Daniel Gallemore and Daniel James headlining. Fightful will provide quick results for the event once it is complete, the event will be airing live on UFC Fight Pass.
