SmackDown After WrestleMania Posts Biggest Viewership Number Of 2017

Last night's episode of SmackDown Live, featuring the much-anticipated debuts of NXT favorites Shinsuke Nakamura and Tye Dillinger, plus all the fallout from Sunday's WrestleMania 33 pay-per-view, drew 2.885 million viewers, according to Show Buzz Daily. This is up 6.5% from the 2.698 million viewers that watched last week's go-home episode.

SmackDown came in at #3 in viewership on cable for the night, behind only FOX News' Tucker Carlson and The O'Reilly Factor. SmackDown did manage to top the list at #1 in the highly coveted 18-49 demographic.

The 2.885 million viewership number is the highest of 2017, besting the 2.817 million viewership number for the Royal Rumble fallout show.

By contrast, Monday's post-WrestleMania 33 edition of RAW drew 3.767 million viewers, which is an increase of nearly 13% over  last week's 3.292 million viewers.
