SmackDown Viewership Drops For 9/19 Episode With Women's Fatal 4 Way Main Event

Last night's episode of SmackDown Live, featuring an advertised US Title Match and an impromptu main event of a Fatal 4-Way to determine the #1 Contender to Natalya's Women's Championship, drew 2.510 million viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. This is down about 9% from the 2.754 million viewers that watched Vince McMahon's return on last week's episode, which turned out to be the best number since the conclusion of the Superstar Shake-up.

SmackDown came in at #7 in viewership on cable last night, behind Rachel Maddow on MSNBC and Tucker Carlson, Special Report, The Story, Hannity and The Five, all on Fox News. SmackDown did manage to secure the #2 spot in the highly coveted 18-49 demographic, behind only FX's American Horror Story.
