Last night's episode of SmackDown Live, the "Go-Home" show for WWE Hell In A Cell, drew just 2.323 million viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. This is down almost 9% from the 2.542 million viewers that watched last week's show and represents the lowest number since the June 13th episode.
It should be noted that SmackDown was up against the American League Wildcard Game on ESPN, which featured the ever popular New York Yankees. That game drew 6.733 million viewers.
For the night, SmackDown came in at #9 in viewership on cable, behind the aforementioned MLB playoff game, Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Fox News Tonight, The Five, The Story, Fox & Friends and Special Report. SmackDown managed to do better in the 18-49 demographic, taking the #3 spot behind the MLB and American Horror Story.
In comparison, Monday's RAW drew 2.773 million viewers, which is 16% better than SmackDown's number, despite also being the lowest viewership since that fateful week of June.
