Here are the results from the GFW Impact Tapings in Orlando yesterday July 4
- Xplosion Match: Tyrus def Caleb Konley
- Xplosion Match: Taiji Ishimori def Andrew Everett
- Show kicks off with LAX coming out and Konnan introducing their newest member Alberto El Patron. Alberto says that he and Konnan go way back but there's no way he's joining LAX. Konnan tries to reason with Alberto but the champ says "No, Gracias." LAX attacks Alberto and beats him down until Bobby Lashley makes the save. Lashley stares Alberto down, picks up the title belt, and hands it over before leaving to the back.
- Naomichi Marufuji vs. Impact Grand Champion Moose ended in a no contest.
---EC3 interfered in the third round, hitting Marufuji in the head with the belt then trying to go after Moose, who escaped. Marufuji was busted open pretty bad.
- Trevor Lee def William Weeks, while wearing the stolen X-Division Title Belt.
--- After the match, the true champ Sonjay Dutt attacked Trevor and ran him off.
- Laurel Van Ness def Ava Storie.
---After the match, Grado comes out with Joseph Park. He has flowers & champagne to give to Laurel, calling her the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. Grado suggests they go on a date, but Laurel's bodyguard (?) Kongo Kong comes out and Grado & Park hightail it.
- Alberto El Patron and Bobby Lashley def Impact & GFW Tag Team Champions The LAX in a non-title match.
---After the match, LAX attacks Patron again but this time Lashley doesn't help. He just peaces out.
- Drago def. Sammy Guevara
- Unified Women'sChampion Sienna def. Amber Nova in a non-title match.
Sienna cuts a promo, calls out Karen Jarrett, demands that Karen declare her the best women's champ ever, but then Allie attacks Sienna with a kendo stick. Laurel makes the save for Sienna, but then Rosemary comes out, but then Gail Kim comes out ... After the ring has been cleared, Karen announces Rosemary vs. Sienna for next week in a Last Knockout Standing match for the title.
- Garza Jr, Laredo Kid and Octagoncito def Trevor Lee, Demus 3:16 and Idris Abraham
- Matt Sydal def. El Hijo del Fantasma and Low Ki in a Triple Threat.
---Sydal calls out Bruce Prichard to demand a title shot but he's interrupted by Lashley, who says the only one who gets a shot at the title is Lashley. He then spears Sydal and vows that there's more where that came from.
- Eli Drake and Chris Adonis are attacked by Instagram stars "Swole Mates" before the next match.
These are the Swole Mates, and they apparently have a new show that premieres on July 20th following IMPACT on Pop.
So there's that.
- Eli Drake def Eddie Edwards, Ethan Carter III and Moose in a Fatal 4 Way, via shenanigans.
* LAX bring Alberto's father and brother, Dos Caras and El Hijo de Dos Caras, to the ring and commence with the beatdown. They are about to unmask Dos Caras when Alberto finally appears. Konnan says he'll release Alberto's family if Alberto joins LAX, then offers Alberto an LAX t-shirt. Alberto feigns putting on the shirt, then suprise attacks LAX, running them off.
