“It really hit home because he was there for me at the end of my amateur career. He had his own show, too. I fought my last amateur fight on his show. He was a good friend. We hadn’t talked in a while, but whenever we would connect, we would be together,” said Torres after the event.

Torres was just one of several American Top Team fighters who fought after their teammates death and also during UFC International Fight Week.

The fighter also admits that this is the first time she had to deal with something like a friend passing away.

“This is the first time (I’ve had to go through that kind of adversity),” said Torres.

Rajman had a record of 2-2-0 as a professional MMA fighter, a Go Fund Me has been set up to help the family of Rajman with funeral and other expenses.
