Actor Terry Crews, from 'Brooklyn 99' and those Old Spice Commercials where a giant black dude yells a lot, was on Conan O'Brien last night to promote his new Adam Sandler Netflix comedy, 'Sandy Wexler.'
In the movie, Crews plays a professional wrestler, and he says that had he made different life choices after his NFL career was over, he could have had a nice, long career in WWE.
"My career could have easily gone into eighteen years in the WWE. Easily. But it's weird, because my career kind of took the other route. But this fulfilled a huge fantasy of mine; I trained with WWE guys, and got in the ring and the whole thing. It was literally a dream come true for me."
In the clip shown, Crews' character "Bedtime" Bobby Barnes (so named because he makes his opponents 'go night-night') is upset because he just found out he's going to lose the championship match. His opponent is going to sit on his face until he taps out.
Because that is still how Hollywood views professional wrestling.

Sandy Wexler (Adam Sandler) is a talent manager working in Los Angeles in the 1990s who diligently represents a group of eccentric clients on the fringes of show business. His single-minded devotion is put to the test when he falls in love with his newest client, Courtney Clarke (Academy Award and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson), a tremendously talented singer who he discovers at an amusement park.
No word on if David Otunga is upset at his wife Jennifer Hudson for not getting him the role of "Bedtime" Bobby Barnes, since she presumably had some pull on the project, and he has, y'know, some actual wrestling experience.
