Either Misha Cirkunov or Glover Teixeira will get a sweet green icon on their wikipedia win-loss records in October, as the two are set to lock horns October 28 in Sao Paulo.
The 37-year old #4 Teixeira has dropped two of his last three fights, but holds wins over Rashad Evans, Rampage Jackson, Ricco Rodriguez, and Bellator Light Heayvweight Champion Ryan Bader. He last competed in May, losing to Alexander Gustafsson. Glover underwent hand surgery following the fight.
Cirkunov is currently ranked #9, and looks to rebound from his first UFC loss after opening up his career 4-0 in the promotion. Cirkunov sent former top 10 fighter Nikita Krylov packing from the company last December.
