Top 15 Light Heavyweight Added To UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale

A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale as #15 Jared Cannonier faces Steve Bosse.

Cannonier (9-2-0) has won two of four fights under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Ion Cutelaba and Cyril Asker. Cannonier is also a former Alaska Fighting Championships Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Tony Lopez to win the gold at AFC 104 in January 2014. Cannonier is actually undefeated on TUF Finale cards, having defeated Ion Cutelaba at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale.

Bosse (12-2-0) is going to be entering the fight on a two fight winning streak, those two wins have come over James Te Huna and Sean O’Connell. Bosse also competed in the first incarnation of the TKO promotion out of Canada, where he defeated UFC veteran Wes Sims. Prior to signing with the UFC in 2015, the Canadian fighter defeated a trio of UFC veterans in Houston Alexander, Marvin Eatsman and the aforementioned Wes Sims.

UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale takes place on Friday, July 7 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
