Danielle Fishel is keeping tabs on Lio Rush.
Since Lio Rush met Danielle Fishel earlier this year at a Pro Wrestling Guerilla event, the sitcom actress has been watching Rush's progress as he joined WWE. Fishel played Topanga in the 1990's sitcom Boy Meets World and the recent spin-off Girl Meets World, capturing the hearts of many. WWE posted an article when Fishel tweeted about Rush signing a WWE contract. She tweeted a joke about knowing Rush before he made it to "the big time" and WWE referred to her as "your childhood crush" because of her role as Topanga.
On Saturday, Fishel tweeted again and said she watched Rush's first NXT match against The Velveteen Dream. Rush faced The Velveteen Dream one week after Rush's first appearance on NXT. The previous week Rush was set for a match against Aleister Black, but The Velveteen Dream attacked Rush before the match started. WWE noted Fishel's tweet about Rush's debut which is below.

Rush lost his debut match. His opponent The Velveteen Dream was already in a feud with Aleister Black before Rush's debut on NXT.
