Triple H: I'll Be Willing To Give Ronda Rousey An Opportunity To Wrestle For WWE

Triple H revealed that former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey is interested in being a WWE wrestler, and Triple H would very much approve of that.

WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative appeared on ESPN programming and talked about the possibilities of Rousey, a longtime wrestling fan, joining the company.

"First of all, she has to stop throwing me around the ring," Triple H joked, referring to their in-ring tussle during WrestleMania 31. "Ronda is a huge fan. That has not been a secret. That's where the 'Rowdy' Ronda comes from." (Rousey's nicknamed after 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper.) "She's definitely interested. We're having conversations. I'll say it right here on ESPN, if she wants the opportunity, I'll be willing to give it to her," Triple H said.

Fightful managing editor Sean Ross Sapp reported exclusively on Fightful.com that Rousey is very interested in wrestling for WWE. Rousey spoke to Triple H to set up her appearance with fellow Four Horsewomen members Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir at the Mae Young Classic. According to sources, WWE had referred Rousey and company to current superstar Brian Kendrick, who trained Eva Marie in the past, for training purposes in Southern California. Baszler is currently taking part in the Mae Young Classic.

Rousey last fought at UFC 207, losing to UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes. Most prominently, Rousey appeared on WWE television at WrestleMania 31 where she had a major segment between her, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and The Rock. Rousey recently got married to current UFC heavyweight fighter Travis Browne.
