Triple H Returns On Monday Night Raw, Replaces Jason Jordan As Fifth Member Of Raw Survivor Series Team

When it comes to WWE, plans change.

In a card that has rapidly changed since initial announcements several weeks ago, the Raw vs. Smackdown elimination match at Survivor Series has a new fifth person -- Triple H, replacing Jason Jordan.

Stephanie McMahon increasingly pressured Kurt Angle throughout the show to get rid of his son, Jason Jordan, as the fifth person. Angle instead opted to put Jordan in a match against a returning Bray Wyatt to prove his worth. Jordan won the match, but was immediately destroyed by Wyatt after the match, injuring his ankle.

Sensing that Jordan may not be 100%, Kurt Angle came out to make the announcement to replace him. However, Jordan came out and begged his father not to take him off the card. Before Angle could do anything, Stephanie McMahon appeared and told him again to cut him. That was Triple H's cue to come out for the first time on WWE television since WrestleMania, saying if he wasn't going to make the announcement, then he will --  he is the fifth Raw participant at Survivor Series.

Jordan didn't really like this news and complained to Triple H. Naturally, Hunter laid him out with the pedigree in response.

This officially makes the match Triple H, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman and Kurt Angle vs. Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena in a Survivor Series elimination match.
