Souza (9-1-0) will be competing for the first time since losing the Invicta FC Strawweight Title to Angela Hill at Invicta FC 17. Souza won the strawweight title by defeating Katja Kankaanpaa at Invicta FC 12 and would defend it once against DeAnna Bennett at Invicta FC 15.

Frey (5-2-0) will be competing for the first time since losing the atomweight title shot to Ayaka Hamasaki at Invicta FC 19, she lost the fight due to a bad cut over her eye. Frey has three wins under the Invicta FC banner, those three wins have come over Cassie Robb, Liz McCarthy and Herica Tiburcio.

Morandin (9-0-0) will be making her Invicta FC debut in this fight and she is a longtime veteran of the Aspera Fighting Championships promotion. Morandin has only competed twice in the last two years, which saw her earn victories over Lavinia Ione and Paula Viera Da Silva.

Invicta Fighting Championships 22 takes place on Saturday, March 25 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Tonya Evinger and Yana Kunitskaya headlining.
