UFC 212 Prelims Ratings Are In

This past weekends UFC 212 preliminary card, which aired live on Fox Sports 1, drew an average of 732,000 viewers.

The show initially started on Fox Sports 2 due to a baseball game running late, the first fight aired in its entirety on FS2 before transitioning over to FS1.

Competition was already stiff without the delays, as there was a prime time baseball game on Fox and game three of the Stanley Cup Finals on the NBC Sports Network.

Brian Kelleher versus Iuri Alcantara, the fight that aired exclusively on FS2, drew an average of 218,000 viewers.

Once this moved over to FS1, things picked up for the better as the featured fight between former World Series Of Fighting Bantamweight Champion Marlon Moraes and Raphael Assuncao peaked with 905,000 viewers.

Antonio Carlos Jr versus Eric Spicely and Matthew Lopez versus Johnny Eduardo were the other two preliminary card fights to air on FS1.

Fox Sports 2 also hosted the UFC 212 pre-game show due to the extra innings filled baseball game, a total of 68,000 viewers tuned in for that. The post-fight show, which aired on FS1, did better by drawing an average of 113,000 viewers.

UFC Fight Night 110 is the next UFC event to air on Fox Sports 1, with the majority of the show airing live, only two fights are airing live on UFC Fight Pass.
