The total payout for the event for the Reebook Sponsorships was $147,500, a total of 28 competitors competed on the card.

The total amount of people in attendance for the event came in at 11,460 and that makes UFC Fight Night 98 the third most attended UFC event in Mexico, right behind UFC 180 (#2) and UFC 188 (#1). Both of the other events were at over 21,000.

The UFC Fight Night Bonuses were award to Tony Ferguson and Rafaeal Dos Anjos for “Fight Of The Night”, plus Ricardo Lamas and Douglas Silva De Andrade for “Performances Of The Night,” each fighter was awarded $50,000 and the total bonus payout was $200,000.
