UFC Fight Night Belem Ratings Are In

There was only one major MMA event this past weekend and it came in the form of UFC Fight Night Belem.

The event was headlined by a middleweight division attraction that saw former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida defeat Eryk Anders by decision.

A total of six fights aired on the main card, drawing a total of 839,000 viewers for the Fox Sports 1 televised event. It was the main event fight between Machida and Anders that drew the most viewers, with 974,000 viewers checking out the bout.

Besides watching the event through cable outlets, it was also available through streaming outlets such as Fox Sports Go and Fox Now, bringing in an additional 12,538 viewers.

Fox Sports 2 aired a four fight preliminary card, with Tim Means and Sergio Moraes in the featured spot, drew a total of 361,000 viewers. The streaming options of Fox Sports Go and Fox Now brought in an additional 6,355 viewers for the prelims.

FS2 also aired the pre-fight show and that drew a total of 113,000 viewers, while the FS1 post-fight show brought in 231,000 viewers.

Up next for the UFC is UFC 221, with a four fight preliminary card airing live on Fox Sports 1, with Damien Brown and Dong Hyun Kim in the featured spot.
