UFC Fight Night Sydney & Bellator 188 Ratings Are In

The MMA action this past weekend was on overdrive with UFC Fight Night Sydney and Bellator 188 taking place.

Bellator 188 kicked off the action with a tape delayed event that aired Friday Night on Spike TV, drawing 444,000 viewers to the event. The main event fight between Noad Lahat and Jeremiah Labiano drew the most viewers, with 578,000 people checking out that bout.

Saturday Night saw UFC Fight Night Sydney air live on Fox Sports 1, headlined by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum defeating Marcin Tybura. That show drew a total of 837,000 viewers, with the Alexander Volkanovski vs. Shane Young bout drawing the most viewers with 987,000 fans checking that encounter out.

There was a four fight preliminary card that also aired on Fox Sports 1, headlined by Ryan Benoit and Ashkan Mokhtarian, a total of 775,000 people checked those four fights out.

A one hour post-fight show also aired on Fox Sports 1 and that drew an average of 321,000 viewers. The live weigh-ins drew 43,000 viewers on Fox Sports 2, while 104,000 viewers tuned into the replay on Fox Sports 1.

Bellator MMA returns to Spike TV with Bellator 189 on December 1 and the UFC returns to Fox Sports 1 on the same night with the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale.
