Despite only being in the UFC this year, Anders tells Fightful that he wants to move up the ladder quickly.

"I want a top 25 guy. I think I'm a bad matchup for the vast majority of the middleweight division in the UFC. It doesn't matter who they give me, I just want someone in the top 25," Anders told James Lynch of Fightful.com. "If they're going to Texas, I definitely have to be there."

In his UFC debut in July, Anders quickly disposed of longtime UFC veteran Rafael Natal in under three minutes, raising many eyebrows along the way. After successful runs in Bellator and LFA as well, Anders will test his mettle against fellow undefeated fighter Markus Perez in December. In an ironic twist, Perez recently won the LFA Middleweight title that Anders vacated.

"I think he's a little small for the weight class. He takes a lot of chances and keeps his hands down. I plan on touching him with my left quite a bit," Anders said.

In the full interview, Eryk Anders (9-0) discusses his upcoming fight against Markus Perez (9-0) at UFC Fight Night 123 on Dec. 9. Eryk also talks about his vacation after his UFC debut, his training camp for this fight and what's next for him.
