UFC Issues Statement On Las Vegas Shooting

Tragedy struck the United States when a lone gunman opened fire of a crowd attending a country music festival in Las Vegas, Nevada.

So far, a total of 58 people have been murdered and over 500 people have suffered some form of injury due to the actions of the gunman.

The UFC has a lot of roots in Las Vegas and is even running an event in the city this weekend with UFC 216, which is headlined by a bout for the vacant UFC Interim Lightweight Title as Tony Ferguson faces Kevin Lee.

In the wake of this horrific tragedy, the UFC has joined the rest of the United States and world in mourning those lost and injured due to this senseless violence.

With that being said, the UFC has issued a statement on the situation through Instagram:
