UFC President Doesn’t Know If Jon Jones Will Fight Again

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been notified of a failed drug test by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and has already been provisionally suspended.

The fighter's future is a dark one at best right now and UFC President Dana White doesn’t know if Jones will ever have the opportunity to fight again.

“If it ends up getting two or three (drug violations), it might be the end of his career,” White said at a media scrum. “So to talk about his legacy, it’s probably the end of his career.”

Since Jones has violated the USADA drug testing policy multiple times, a suspension for the fighter could be two years or longer. White is usually the flamboyant front man for the UFC and now he is even at a loss for words of the champion's latest violation.

“It’s brutal,” he said. “It’s unbelievable. I’m sure I feel the same way every one of you felt when you heard. I always know what to say. I don’t know what to say about this one.”

If White is correct and Jones never does fight again, then his bout with Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 would now serve as his swan song.
