Bret Hart Would Have ‘Loved To’ Work With John Cena

In an alternative universe, there’s a chance the Montreal Screwjob never happened and Bret Hart would’ve worked with John Cena. Even though Hart returned to WWE in 2010, there was no story between the two, nor would there have been a competitive match.
As part of Hart’s appearance on the Johnny I Pro Show, he discussed the possibility of working with Cena back in the day, “Can you imagine John Cena with the US vs. Canada thing I had going?”
“Hypothetically, just say the screwjob never happened and I was still in WWF, that would’ve happened. I would’ve worked with John Cena and we would’ve done amazing stuff,” Hart said. He added, “I found John Cena to be such a professional and I would’ve loved to have worked with him.”
Hart discussed plenty of other topics throughout the show including his dream opponent and which WWE superstar’s punches he believes look “embarrassing.”
