Eddie Kingston To Challenge For CMLL World Heavyweight Title At 8/28 CMLL Event

Eddie Kingston will be going for gold.

CMLL announced that Eddie Kingston will challenge Hechicero for the CMLL World Heavyweight Title on the August 28 CMLL event.

This will mark Eddie’s debut for CMLL.

He was set to face Claudio Castagnoli in the quarterfinals of the AEW Continental Cup Challenge, but was not cleared the day before the event. This match against Hechicero being official implies he’s been cleared.

Also on the card is Villanos vs Dinastía Panther vs Gemelos Diablo in a World Tag Title Qualifier.
