John Cena Reacts To Samoa Joe’s Tribute To Him On AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming
Samoa Joe paid tribute to John Cena at AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming, giving a salute as he had Eddie Kingston locked in an STF(U).
Joe and Cena trained together very early in their career at UPW in California. Their paths would cross again in 2017 in WWE where they wrestled against each other on a handful of occasions.
On Instagram, John Cena reacted as one would expect him to react, by posting an uncaptioned photo of Joe’s salute.

Joe and Cena last wrestled against each other at WWE Survivor Series 2017. Cena teamed with Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, Shane McMahon & Shinsuke Nakamura as part of Team SmackDown while Joe represented Team Raw with Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Kurt Angle, & Triple H.
Cena is set to have his retirement match on Saturday against Gunther.
