LA Knight Gives IShowSpeed Credit For His Crossover Appeal
IShowSpeed will make his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 42 when he teams with The Vision (Austin Theory & Logan Paul) against LA Knight & The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso).
Speed found himself caught in the rivalry between Knight & The Usos against The Vision, inadvertently helping Paul & Theory win the WWE World Tag Team Titles.
Speaking to Shannon Sharpe & Ochocinco on Night Cap, Knight weighed in on Speed’s involvement.
“Our audience gets a little hot sometimes when you bring in the outsiders, especially when it’s somebody who, maybe they haven’t paid the dues or they don’t respect the business. We have to slow them down a little. When you think about IShowSpeed, IShowFist right in his face. It’s going to be a good time. I have to give him credit. You talk about the crossover and the appeal and how we’ve been very good as a company at making those things work. They just put out stat, I think the views on IShowSpeed getting pushed by Logan Paul into me, it’s the highest viewed clip in the history of any of our social media clips. I can respect that and take my hats off to those guys. At the same time, Saturday, it’s going to be a hard, long night,” he said.
The six-man bout will open night one of WrestleMania 42 and air on ESPN.
