MJF Gives Statement On Why He’s Doing Business With NJPW

Fans were surprised at NJPW Road to King of Pro-Wrestling when MJF appeared via video to challenge Ryohei Oiwa.
The One True Champion has made no secret of his issues with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, believing it’s not a real promotion and that everyone sucks. He’s traded barbs with Oiwa on social media since the G1 Climax, which Oiwa won with a headlock.
MJF gave the following statement to Fightful regarding his working with NJPW:
I have a statement for why I’m doing business with New Japan.
It’s a simple one I’d like public.
I want to prove new Japan isn’t a real company.
I want to prove I’m the master of the headlock.
But MOST of all. I want to upset puro twitter.
