Rhea Ripley wants to give Jade Cargill ‘a good match’ at WrestleMania, hoping that Cargill will be proud after the match regardless of the outcome.
Following her Elimination Chamber victory earlier this year, Ripley has been poised to challenge for Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s Championship in a bout of powerhouses. For Ripley, she also hopes for more than just a victory in the bout.
While speaking on Sneaker Shopping in a new interview, Rhea Ripley spoke about her upcoming bout with Cargill, noting that regardless of who wins, she hopes that Jade is proud of the bout afterwards.
“This is such a big match that people have wanted since she came to the WWE, and we finally come to it at WrestleMania 42. With her, I want to go out there and I want to give her a good match. Whether she wins or loses, because let’s be honest, I’m going to take her championship at WrestleMania 42. It’s going to happen. It’s Rhea bloody Ripley’s show. I’m going to take their championship. But I want her to be proud no matter what the outcome is.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Rhea spoke about meeting Drake at Elimination Chamber 2025. You can read more about that here.
