Seth Rollins Says Becky Lynch Had A Fractured Vertebrae That Kept Her Sidelined

Becky Lynch had her first match in four months this past Monday on Raw when she faced Liv Morgan in a number one contenders match for the WWE Women’s World Title.

The bout ended in a DQ when Stephanie Vaquer interfered, setting up a triple threat match for the title at WWE Money in the Bank.

Speaking to Rich Eisen, Becky’s husband Seth Rollins revealed that she had been dealing with a back injury, which kept her off television.

“She’s coming off a recent injury. I don’t even know if I’m supposed to say. It wasn’t really made public. She broke her back. She didn’t break her back, her back was broken. She had a little fracture in one of her vertebrae. She was out of action and couldn’t wrestle for six weeks. I’m still a little concerned about the back, but it seems like all is well,” he said.

Rollins said he’d be more worried about her if Becky Lynch was in a ladder match on Saturday.

Rollins has been off TV since WWE SummerSlam, where he failed to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Title from Roman Reigns. It is unknown when he will return.
