UPDATE: Damning Audio Surfaces Of Alberto El Patron & Paige Arguing At Orlando Airport

UPDATE: As seen above, damning audio has been released of the altercation between Alberto El Patron and Paige at the Orlando International Airport yesterday.

In the audio, Paige can clearly be heard telling Alberto "Stay out of my life" and "Leave me the f*ck alone," as well as saying that if he pressed charges against her, at least "it gets me the f*ck away from you."

She also said that she's trying to "get away" from Alberto, "all the time."

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

TMZ Sports is reporting that current GFW Impact Unified Champion Alberto El Patron is being investigated for domestic assault.

The alleged incident took place at the Orlando Airport at around 3 PM on Sunday after witnesses reported "an altercation" between Alberto and a female companion. Apparently, the two were arguing and things escalated.

TMZ's law enforcement sources say that Alberto has not been arrested and no charges have been filed but the case remains open as investigators gather more information. The Orlando PD would also not confirm the identity of the woman in question, but witnesses say that Paige was with Alberto at the airport.

GFW would issue the following to Fightful.com

“Global Force Wrestling takes all legal situations very seriously and is looking into this matter.  GFW is a privately-held company and will thoroughly investigate this incident and fully cooperate with law enforcement.”

Orlando PD stated the following:

"There was an incident at Orlando International Airport at about 3 p.m. Sunday involving Jose Rodriguez (DOB 5/25/1977) The reported incident was a domestic violence battery, and it is still under investigation. No arrests have been made as of this time, but the case remains open. That is all the information we have for release at this time."

UPDATE: Paige has Tweeted her response, refuting the allegations toward her fiance and providing a different story altogether.

Fightful has reached out to El Patron for comment, which hasn't been returned. He missed an indy booking Sunday night in Texas after being detained at the airport.
