UPDATE: WWE Edits Kenny Omega Name Drop Out Of Surprise Royal Rumble Entrants Video

EDITOR'S UPDATE: The Video has now been made private by WWE. (Curiouser and Curiouser.)

SECOND EDITOR'S UPDATE: After the original video containing Seth Rollins hoping for an appearance by Kenny Omega got so much attention, WWE made the video private, then re-uploaded it later with the Kenny Omega portion taken out. Also noticeably missing is Gallows & Anderson talking about Tama Tonga and Bad Luck Fale.

WWE SmackDown Preview, Start Time, How To Watch (4/19): Bayley vs. Naomi, AJ Styles vs. LA Knight

ORIGINAL: WWE continues to stir the Kenny Omega pot even more with a video on their official YouTube page.

The video in question is WWE Superstars being asked who they wish to see in the Royal Rumble match. The Miz said Ryan Gosling, Renee Young said Santino Marella and several other superstars gave their choice. But the one suggestion that caught everyone off-guard was Seth Rollins' option of Kenny Omega, who is currently signed to New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Further name dropping of NJPW wrestlers continued in the video when Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, two of the founding members of the Bullet Club in NJPW, said they wanted to see Tama Tonga, also a Bullet Club member. Omega is currently serving as the leader of the faction. Gallows also dropped the name of Bad Luck Fale, who is currently signed to NJPW as well.

Speculation of Omega possibly signing with WWE started after his now-famous match with Kasuchika Okada in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 11 on January 4. Omega's NJPW contract is set to expire on January 31, after the Royal Rumble is done. Shortly afterwards, John Cena started to post pictures of Kenny Omega on his Instagram account.

Right around this time last year, WWE also started publicly acknowledging other NJPW stars potentially signing with WWE, including running an article on WWE.com about the possibility of guys such as Gallows, Anderson and AJ Styles leaving Japan for Vince McMahon's company.

The Royal Rumble will be held on January 29 in San Antonio, Texas. The video can be seen above.
