UPDATED: AOP Match Stopped At NXT Tapings When Enhancment Talent Takes Terrible Bump

The WWE has a PSA that they run during their programming to remind the viewers that what is happening in the ring is very dangerous and ends with the familiar refrain "don't try this at home." Last night was an example of that warning illustrated all too clearly.

At the NXT tapings in Orlando, the Authors of Pain faced an team of enhancement talents. One was Johnny Vandal, who has appeared on the show before. The other is still unknown. (UPDATE: ProWrestlingSheet is now reporting that the performer's name is Anthony Bowens.)

One of AOP signature double team maneuvers is something that fans have taken to calling "The High Five Double Powerbomb." It's very impressive, and when executed properly, it looks like this.

But last night, AOP's two opponents were not powerbombed several feet from each other. One was powerbombed ON TOP of the other. It looked like this:

The match was stopped, AOP awarded the win by KO, and the talent who had a friend of his thrown onto his head at a distance of eight feet was attended to by doctors. Some reports say he was down for a full five minutes.

He was then helped to the back.

There has be no report on the wrestler's identity or his condition, but if anything changes we will update you.

(UPDATE: ProWrestlingSheet is also reporting that Anthony Bowens has suffered a concussion. He's going to remain in Florida for the time being so WWE officials can continue to monitor his progress.)
