UPDATED: Jim Ross Says Lita Told Him She's No Longer With WWE, Lawler Still With Company

Yesterday we reported that, according to Dave Meltzer, Jerry Lawler and Lita were being removed from WWE television. This meant they would no longer be on the pre-show panels for pay-per-views or involved in the new streamlined Raw and Smackdown pre-shows. However, they were both still affiliated with the company, and under a Legends contract with WWE.

According to Jim Ross, that's not actually the case with Lita, whose real name is Amy Dumas, as he reports that she told him she is no longer with the company in any capacity.

Lita was voted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014. You can see some of her induction speech at the top of the page.

There has been no indication as of yet about whether this means that Jerry Lawler has also been fully released.

UPDATE: WWE has confirmed to Wrestling Inc that Lawler will still host the Hall of Fame special during WrestleMania weekend.

We will keep you updated if and when things change.
