From early, November, heavyweight Blagoy Ivanov ran his win streak to five after a unanimous decision victory over previously once-beaten Caio Alencar at PFL: Fight Night. The Bulgarian brawler overcame a slow start and began to take the fight to Alencar in the 2nd round before he was temporarily stopped by an errant finger to his eye from his retreating opponent. After a brief respite, Ivanov (16-1) continued his striking assault until the final bell. Alencar (11-2) did his best work early but couldn’t muster enough offense to stop Ivanov from walking him down in the later rounds.
