This episode of the NWA Ten Pounds of Gold is entitled Time Warp. The National Wrestling Alliance celebrates it's 70th Anniversary this year and these two warriors battling over the richest prize in pro wrestling. The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship aka The Ten Pounds of Gold.
Billy Corgan purchased the NWA in 2017 and began the return to prominence of the oldest wrestling brand in the United States and re-establishing the legacy of the NWA Worlds Championship. Men like Ric Flair, Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, Lou Thesz, Dory Funk Jr, Terry Funk, Rick Steamboat, Adam Pearce, Colt Cabana, Tim Storm and others have held Ten Pound of Gold.
The #NWA70 event celebrated these men and also started new traditions like the NWA National Championship won by Willie Mack.
