- Reactions were mixed for the ROH Unauthorized show because of how Ring of Honor has been presented in the past.
- If it's up to him, he does goofball wrestling, and said that because of him being a journeyman he doesn't always have the time to tell those stories. The way that NWA and Billy Corgan want their TV done is different, and he's more than happy to fill a more serious role, saying he can work any way he needs to.
- He still plans on working the independent circuit despite his schedule. He says he's passed up some contract offers in the past in order to do what he does.
