A women’s featherweight division attraction is the latest addition to the Bellator 182 card as Talita Nogueira is going to be in action against Gabrielle Holloway.
Nogueira (6-0-0) is going to be making her Bellator MMA debut in this fight and this is going to be the first time she has competed in almost four years. Nogueira has yet to see any of her professional MMA bouts go the distance and only two of her bouts have gone into the second round. Nogueira last competed at a December 2013 Taboao Fighting Championships event, defeating Michelle Oliveira by first round submission.
Holloway (6-5-0) has won just one of three fights under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over UFC veteran Alexis Dufresne at Bellator 174. Holloway has previously challenged for the Sugar Creek Showdown Women’s Featherweight Title, losing to Latoya Walker by unanimous decision. Holloway won all seven of her amateur MMA fights.
Bellator 182 takes place on Friday, August 25 from the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York with Andrey Koreshkov and Chidi Njokuani headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
