A women’s strawweight division encounter has been added to the UFC Fight Night Sydney Card as Alex Chambers is going to be in action against Nadia Kassem.

Chambers (5-3-0) has won just one of three fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Kailin Curran at UFC Fight Night 65. Chambers hasn’t competed in over two years, with her last fight being a loss to Paige VanZant at UFC 191. Chambers also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20, suffering a defeat to Rose Namajunas in the opening round of the tournament.
Kassem (4-0-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this fight and she does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over two years. Kassem has competed twice in the Urban Fight Night promotion, defeating the duo of Leigha Aurisch and Belinda Sedgwick. Kassem has not seen any of her MMA fights go past the opening round and none of her fights has lasted longer than 2 minutes.
UFC Fight Night Sydney takes place on Saturday, November 18 from the Qudus Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia with Mark Hunt and Marcin Tybura headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
