World Title Change At The Royal Rumble

John Cena accomplished the seemingly impossible and tied one of the greatest records in wrestling history.

Cena tied Ric Flair's career world title record (16 world titles recognized by WWE) when he beat AJ Styles in a near 25-minute classic to win the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. This is his 13th reign with the WWE Title. AJ had held the title since the Backlash pay-per-view last September.

Below is the finish of the match written up by Fightful's Danielle Ortiz at the live viewing party:

Cena is up and getting out onto the apron. He climbs up the turnbuckle. Goes to the top, misses. A.J. for Styles Clash!!! Cena kicks out!

Styles goes for a splash and gets kneed! Neither can get the cover!

Styles looks hurt after a backstabber, Cena trying to take advantage, the match still goes on. This is insane!

Top turnbuckle, Cena lifts Styles up, goes for middle rope AA, lands it and A.J. KICKED OUT!

Cena gets him up again, Styles  Counters, Clash AGAIN! Styles is up, gonna look for Forearm, reversed into AA, goes for it again, gets it again and John Cena wins.

Cena's career in WWE can be summed up in one word: accomplished. Outside of the 16 world titles Cena has won, Cena is a five-time United States champion, four-time Tag Team champion, and two-time Royal Rumble winner.
