2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic To Begin On 9/22 WWE NXT

The Dusty Classic is back.

NXT General Manager Robert Stone gave an interview in his office during the 9/15 WWE NXT on The CW. He announced the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.

Stone said 14 teams will be in the tournament, and they will come from NXT, EVOLVE, AAA, Raw, and SmackDown. The full brackets will be released later this week, and the tournament begins on the 9/22 NXT.

One of the teams in the tournament is the Creed Brothers (Julius Creed & Brutus Creed).

The last Dusty Classic tournament took place in 2024, and the winners were Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker.
