Judge Denies AEW’s Request To Move Production Worker Lawsuit To Florida

A judge has denied AEW and Jon Moxley’s request to move a civil lawsuit to a Florida court.
Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling first reported the news on Thursday, referencing the lawsuit that former production worker Christopher Dispensa filed back in May 2025. As some fans may remember, Dispensa filed the suit alleging negligence, civil assault, and battery over an incident where he was pushed to the floor by Moxley.
Thurston’s new report notes that the judge chose to keep the case in Michigan, where the incident occurred in May 2023. Back in July, AEW asked to move the case to Florida because that’s where Dispensa and most of his doctors live.
Furthermore, a second settlement conference with the court is set to take place on December 22, 2026. The first conference was held in July of this year.
Fightful will update fans when a new update surfaces on the Chris Dispensa’s lawsuit. In the meantime, check out the current lineup for Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision by clicking here.
