The Miz On Breaking His Losing Streak: I Didn’t Even Pin The Guy
The Miz comments on his losing streak.
At this point in his career, winning isn’t exactly a common thing for The Miz. Recently, he lost 45 matches in a row, a streak that lasted from August 26, 2025 until October 23, 2026.
Speaking with Z100 New York for a new interview, Miz said that he wasn’t even aware of the streak until someone pointed it out on social media.
“I think it’s the longest losing streak that anyone in WWE history has ever been a part of. Without even knowing, right? I didn’t keep track of it until someone online was like, ‘Hey, does anyone know that The Miz hasn’t won a match in like two years?’ I was like, wait a second, is that real? Is that true? I’m going through it every week. I have a match and then it skips my mind. You’re only as good as your last match, so I’m always thinking about the last match, right? I’m not thinking about the entire year, how I’ve been doing.”
Miz also reminded fans that Kit Wilson was the one that picked up the win on the October 23 episode of Main Event.
“I didn’t even pin the guy, by the way. My tag team partner did. So, I won by not even pinning a guy.”
When it comes to singles matches, Miz hasn’t been victorious since February 2024.
“I still need a solo win, I still need to pin a guy. I guess that’s still going if you’re really keeping track.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Miz said that he still feels good at 46 years old. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
