Action Andretti Receives Assist From The Opps To Win ROH World Television Title At Death Before Dishonor

Action Andretti obtains the belt with an assist.

The ROH World Television Championship was up for grabs at Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view. ‘Blackheart’ Lio Rush put the belt on the line against Action Andretti in a Fight Without Honor match.

Rush paid tribute to the late Terrance Brunk (Sabu) with his ring gear.

The backend of the bout saw Rush have Andretti trapped in a submission, but the lights in the 2300 Arena went out. When the lights came back on, HOOK was in the ring. He went after Rush, but it ultimately resulted in HOOK trying to charge at the champion, but Rush evaded, and HOOK went through a door that was set up in the corner.

Fellow member of The Opps, Anthony Bowens, showed up to assist Andretti. HOOK would go on to choke Rush with the Redrum submission.

The Opps placed Rush on a table, and then Andretti followed up by doing a springboard 450 onto Rush. He put Rush back in the ring, but the champion kicked out at one.

There was further interference from The Opps, which ultimately led to Andretti defeating Rush to become the new ROH World Television Champion.

Post-match, Rush pulled a black heart from a box, drank from it, and then black ooze came out of his mouth.
