Action Andretti Speaks About ROH TV Title Win: “That Match Was To Remind Everybody Who The F*ck Action Andretti Is!”

The new champion, Action Andretti, speaks.

The Ring of Honor World Television Title reign of ‘Blackheart’ Lio Rush came to an end when he was defeated by Action Andretti in a Fight Without Honor match at Death Before Dishonor. The Opps (Anthony Bowens & HOOK) helped Andretti win.

During the post-show media scrum, Andretti spoke about his title win:

“This is my first singles title here in Ring of Honor and AEW and I said it after the match: That match just wasn’t about becoming the new Ring of Honor Television Champion. That match wasn’t just about ending my feud with Lio Rush. That match was to remind everybody who the f*ck Action Andretti is!”

He was then asked about being aligned with The Opps and if he’s spoken to the leader of the group, Samoa Joe.

“Joe’s a busy man. He’s on the big screen right now making TV shows so, I’m sure we’ll be seeing him very soon, and I think he’ll be pretty happy to see me with The Opps as the Ring of Honor Television Champion.”

Andretti has been with AEW since 2022.
