AEW has filed to trademark ‘Death’s Door’ in the wake of the steel cage variant being used at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 28th, a 12 man steel cage tag team match took place as team Mark Briscoe would take on Team MJF. The bout would take place in a new variant of the steel cage structure, as Tony Khan would call it, a circular ‘Death’s Door’ cage would surround the ring for the bout.

In a new trademark filing on June 29th, AEW filed to trademark ‘Death’s Door’. You can check out the filing description below.
