AJ Francis: My Feud With Elijah Is Probably The Best Storyline In Wrestling This Year
AJ Francis comments on his rivalry with Elijah.
Lasting from March until August, the feud saw Francis and Elijah face off in a number of matches on both pay-per-view and television. Things came to a natural conclusion at TNA Lockdown, where Francis defeated Elijah in a Steel Cage match.
Speaking with The Wrestling Classic for a new interview, AJ Francis reflected on the feud, saying that it’s probably the best storyline in wrestling this year.
“Just look at the feud I had with Elijah. From the stuff we did in the studio where he’s like haunting my mind to me stealing his name, image, and likeness, to us having the match and me hitting Expressions in the head with a guitar and me getting the Expressions medical fund. Just the opportunity to be creative and do different things. That was probably the most — if you start from the beginning of me and Elijah’s storyline to the end of it at Lockdown, I mean that’s probably the best storyline in wrestling this year. It’s the best, most creative storyline in wrestling this year. I stand on that. Not only that, but we had banger fucking matched at Slammiversary and at Lockdown. It should be up there for feud of the year.”
