AJPW’s Yuma Anzai Lands Lead Role In Drama Series

A new opportunity for Yuma Anzai.
The news was pushed out that former AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion Yuma Anzai has landed the lead role in a drama series.
The premise of the series is that it will depict the struggles of a director (Anzai) who loves ramen more than anything else. He’ll travel across Japan to meet with ramen shop owners and enthusiasts. He’ll be pursuing the success of his show and personal growth.

There will be eight episodes total, and the show will begin airing in December 2026.
The 27-year-old Anzai was also part of the cast for The Bachelorette Japan. He last wrestled at AJPW’s August 2nd show.
