AKIRA: “I Was Already On The Outs With MLW… I Threatened To Stab A Mofo Who Intruded On My Life & He Knows What He Did”

AKIRA worked dates for MLW for several years.

For several years of AKIRA’s career, he was with Major League Wrestling. During his time with the organization, he captured the World Middleweight and World Tag Team Championships.

He wrapped up with MLW in the summer of 2025. MLW came up during AKIRA’s appearance on Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling. He shared why he was already on the outs with the organization.

“I was already on the outs with MLW… I threatened to stab a mofo who intruded on my life and he knows what he did and everyone knows what he did, and I was enraptured in the throws of heartbreak, and I said, ‘If I get in the ring with you, you’re not going to like what I do,’ and MLW was like — again, I was off the reservation. I was crazy, I was heartbroken, I was f*cking wacko. I was vitriolic…”
